Ongoing projects

Maximization of C2&C3 from the Western Desert Gas Fields Project

The project intends to maximize C2 & C3 recovery from WDGC (Western Desert Gas Complex) and to produce C2 and C3 from Amereya LPG plant by installing new facilities at both the WDGC and the Amereya LPG plants. Turbo expander technology will be utilized in both plants to maximize the C2 and C3 production.
The recovered C2 and C3 in Amereya LPG plant, downstream a new installed demethanizer, will be processed within the WDGC facilities where the storage and loading facilities are located. The C2 and C3 will be transferred to the WDGC via the existing 12" pipeline.
A new 300 MMSCFD train will be installed at the WDGC in parallel with the existing two trains to maximize C2 and C3 production.
In addition, the projects scope of work will also cover any modifications to upgrade the existing process facilities and utilities at both plants.
