EGAS HSE Policy Statement
Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) was established in August 2001 within an overall strategy for the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to focus on all aspects of Natural Gas activities.
The company has put on top of its priorities the prevention of injury and ill health of employees and the protection of assets and the environment and made it one of its basic elements of equal importance as the development of EGAS resources. The success to achieve our goal depends on our ability to continuously improve the Company Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.
HSE is the responsibility of line management, with the active commitment and support of all company employees. Line management has a leadership role in communication, implementation, and ensuring compliance with the applicable legal requirements and other requirements of the HSE standards.
We will ensure the execution of the policy through setting objectives, targets and an action plan. Also this policy will be reviewed whenever needed.
