On the Sidelines of the Energy Intelligence Forum in London: Talks between Minister of Petroleum and the CEO of Baker Hughes on Enhancing Technological Cooperation to Boost Production and Reduce Emissions

x-twitter On the sidelines of the Energy Intelligence Forum in London, Eng. Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, met with Mr. Lorenzo Simonelli, CEO of Baker Hughes, a leading global company in providing drilling and production #technologies and solutions for oil and gas domains, as well as energy transition and carbon #emission #reduction solutions.
The Minister asserted that boosting reliance on technology in exploration, production, and #HSE is a top priority for the petroleum sector. He praised the long-standing and successful partnership with Baker Hughes, extended for more than 60 years.
During the meeting, they discussed ways of #cooperation for expanding the use of advanced technologies in exploration and production, and developing brownfields. They also reviewed the drilling innovative solutions and reservoir management, as well as carbon emission reduction and environmental performance improvement, for reflecting the petroleum sector’s commitment to sustainable practices.
