The Minister of Petroleum and His Cypriot Counterpart Inaugurate the Exhibition on the Sidelines of the Eastern Mediterranean Energy Conference in Cyprus

Karim Badawi, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Mr. George Papanastasiou, Cypriot Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry, inaugurated the exhibition held alongside the Eastern Mediterranean Energy Conference. Both ministers visited the Egyptian petroleum pavilion, which included the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC), the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), and companies such as PETROJET, ENPPI, Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO), and the Egypt Upstream Gateway (EUG).
During his visit, officials reviewed Egypt’s efforts to develop its oil and gas infrastructure and to reinforce its status as a regional hub for trading and exchanging energy in the Eastern Mediterranean.
