EGAS Executive Managing Director Explores Strengthening Natural Gas Cooperation with Chevron

During the Egypt International Energy Conference and Exhibition "EGYPES 2025”, Eng. Yassin Mohamed, the Executive Managing Director of the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), met with Frank Cassulo, Vice President of Chevron International Exploration and Production, to explore possible ways to strengthen cooperation in the natural gas sector. The geologist Ibrahim Mohamed Abdo, EGAS Vice President for Agreements and Exploration, and Eng. Abdel Nasser Khafaji, EGAS Vice President for Production, attended the meeting.

The meeting addressed Chevron's activities in exploration and production in Egypt. Frank Cassulo, expressed Chevron's desire to expand cooperation with Egypt as a strategic partner, noting the company's interest in EGAS's bid round, encouraged by the Ministry of Petroleum's attractive investment incentives and plans to develop existing fields to boost production rates.
