The Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) has been honoured with a prestigious award from the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC).
During the 113th OAPEC Ministerial Meeting held in Kuwait City, His Excellency Mr. Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, Minister of State For Energy Affairs and Chairman of the 2024 OAPEC Session presented the awards to two teams. One of the awards was granted to a research team from the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS), representing the Arab Republic of Egypt. The team included Dr. Lamya Ahmad Abu Shahba, Eng. Hiba Bishr Nasr, Eng. Yahya Nassar, and Mrs. Inas Ibrahim Zahran, for their research titled “Decarbonization and Circular Carbon Economy in the Oil and Gas Field: Implications for OAPEC Countries.”
