The petroleum sector participates in the activates of the start initiative to promote occupational safety and health and support employment

On December 3, 2024, the “Your Safety Matters” campaign was launched as part of the new initiative launched under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi at the Egyptian Natural Gas Company (GASCO). 

The event,  was attended by prominent figures including the Minister of Labor, Mr. Mohamed Gibran, and representatives from the petroleum sector, aimed at promoting occupational safety and health and support youth employment. 

Eng. Yassin Mohamed, representing H.E Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, highlighted the initiative’s alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030 for sustainable development. The campaign seeks to invest in human capital, strengthen Egyptian identity, and enhance human resources across the country. The event concluded with the distribution of employment contracts to people of determination and informal workers.
